Do you hate losing? I was getting my butt handed to me on Evony until I found a good Evony beginners guide. Let me share some of the tricks to picking a good Evony beginners guide so that maybe you don’t have to take the beating I took learning with this fun, addictive game.

1. Cheat Guides

There are some guides out there that provide tips or cheats that will ultimately get your account banned. There is nothing worse than investing a lot of time and then having all your progress wiped out.

It happened to me. I did exactly what a guide told me to do and that information got me banned. I was naive and didn’t know what hacks were at the time. I learned really quick the hard way.

2. Watch For Scams

There are a lot of scams out there hustling people for their hard earned money. Make sure you don’t sign up for a Evony beginners guide that has recurring payments. This is a sneaky tactic that scammers use to get extra money out of you. Usually you don’t realize it until after at least one extra payment has gone through. Sometimes you have lost six months of cash before you cancel your subscription!

Also never give out your account information. Some scammers will phish for your information saying that they need it in order to send you your guide. This is a hustle. As soon as you turn over your info, they sign into your account and rob you blind.

A real Evony beginners guide seller only needs your email address so that they can send you your e-book. All payment information should be handled through PayPal or other secure payment systems.

3. Pick Reputation

There are only a few guides worth checking out. Go with one written by somebody that is actually dominating in the game already. I could throw together a 100 page ebook stuffed with a bunch of information I’ve found on Wikipedia or the FAQ from the Evony site. But that is not an Evony beginners guide that is going to benefit you.

Be sure you get a guide that is respected by veterans of the game.

Don’t waste any of your real money purchasing in-game items to barely keep your town afloat. Find an Evony beginners guide that will make you rich in-game within a matter of days.

Evony free forever is a browser-based game featuring some of the best new online gaming graphics and a totally new, appealing concept that millions have already been enjoying. For those who appreciate and love massively multiplayer games, they will also be long term players of Evony free forever once they get a small bite of it. While you can choose whether to buy Evony coins, the game is basically still free and apparently has millions of players to date since it was put on the market to the world in early 2009.

Basically, Evony, also formerly known as Civony, is a browser-based multiplayer online game with graphic elements reminiscent to Civilization. Players compete against one another in castle like warfare with thousands of other players. Each player is to build up their own city by putting their attention to the latest defenses, resources, investing in new technologies and armies meant for expanding territory.

It has been a buzz topic on the internet recently, not merely for the popularity of game, but also around legal and copyright issues as many claimed that Evony was a direct, cheap rip off of the likes of Civilization by Sid Meier. Moreover, adding to the controversy is Evony’s strong AdSense campaign that features pretty and scantily clad girls to other obvious rip-offs of Age of Empires, Civilization and some interface portions of Habbo Hotel. In addition to the scandalous ad campaign, they frequently state that users can “play discreetly” and have also been accused of promoting the gamer through “millions of spam comments left on blogs”.

Despite all these negative attention, controversy and a strong advertising and marketing campaign, Evony free forever proudly seems to have at least large majority of web gamers who sign up for an account and check the game out from their gaming perspective. The game has created a whole new online niche; websites are popping up daily covering aspects such as cheats, guides, tactics, bots and so on. Evobot allows automatic control of the game interface and leading the popular browser game overwhelmed by “auto” play, which in other words cheating, this could essentially drive the genuine user and larger alliance members away of things go out of control.

Of the countless captivating and unique factors of the online game Evony, one of the most enjoyable aspects of the game is the combat. Until you have participated in combat in the game, you have yet to wholly experience the game.

Rather than manually moving soldiers around the map, you make text based commands, and your troops act accordingly. Units are created from a barracks, and congregate at your rally points. Without these buildings, combat is impossible

Overall, the majority of your fights are often against other human players. It is not uncommon, however, to battle NPC valleys or NPC cities. To defeat these cities, you’ll have to gather a very strong and potent army, as these cities are often well defended.

After the fight, you will be given what is known as a “battle report” that will inform you how the battle went, how many soldiers were lost, and, most importantly, whether or not you were victorious. If you won the fight, you will also find out how many resources you obtained, as well as how much honor you gained.

To get started attacking in Evony, you will need to set up a rally point. At first, you are only able to send out 1 army at a time, but as you upgrade your rally point, you will be able to send out a greater number of armies out at once. The rally point is also very useful for simulating “mock battles” to check the chances of winning when certain troops go against one another. For instance, if your opponent has 300 archers, and you are planning on bringing 600, you can simulate the battle to determine if your troops are enough to win. This can be very beneficial in the long run for advanced players.

The other essential building is the barracks. At first, you are very limited to how advanced your troops can be. As you upgrade your barracks, however, you’ll find that your units can be quite powerful. Spending plenty of time upgrading at your barracks and your academy can give you a significant combat advantage over your opponents.

Along with gathering a strong attack force, it is also essential that you spend time building up your defenses as well. The most effective defenses rely on a combination of defensive fortifications, such as walls and traps, in addition to a large amount of units stationed inside the city in the event the defenses are breached. Along with traps and walls, another extremely important defensive building is the beacon tower. The beacon tower will warn you of incoming armies, and can give you enough time to prepare to defend your city.

In conclusion, the attacking in Evony is very sophisticated, and quite fun. Understanding the basic skills necessary to defeat your opponent is very valuable, and the more time that you spend dedicate to battling, the more and more you will become addicted to Evony. Very few online, free games offer the delight and excitement that is found when doing battle in Evony.

Online browser games such as Evony online are typically video games played on web browsers. It could be said as one of the most popular MMORPG on the net.

Some claimed that one of the massive reasons that Evony online has gotten such huge, loyal fan base is that is can actually be played while playing other games! This might seemed confusing as why do you want to play a game while playing another? However, many players have done this. Many players of other games play this game online in the background and attend to it while waiting for their other game to load. In this way, players can monitor their progress such as the production of food and materials and the harvesting of resources on Evony online and accomplish all of that while playing other games.

It is a free to play browser-based game. However, if you like to be way ahead of others and accelerate your Evony city, like other such games, you have the option of doing so by spending real money on it. The most secured way is to transfer money to Evony is by PayPal. The real money is then converted to “cents” in the game. Cents can be used to speed up production from anything between couples of minutes to hours, all depending on how much real money you are willing to spend on a virtual game. In addition, a bonus tip for spending cents wisely is that you use an amulet for the wheel of fortune, which costs 5 cents. It will net you an item worth an average of 24 cents. Yes, you heard it right; you can get an item worth almost five times the cost of an amulet. How can you not get addicted?

There are famous controversies regarding the ads of scantily clad beautiful women spamming the internet. However, players claimed that the ads only functioned to attract players. Once you start playing, there are helpful beginner’s quests that are built to help you familiarize yourself with the game. It a great way to start out and get hooked on the game and ultimately players get addicted to Evony. As your virtual city grows, you would want more and more territory and this is where players claimed that the ads are merely just baits to the game.

For starters they have improved the land layout and graphics. There are some items they have changed as well as added to the game. Some of the major changes are outlined below.

Beginner Immunity – They have included a 7 day beginner immunity period to allow you to adjust to the game and find all your resources as they may be spread out across the servers. During this time you can not attack someone and no one can attack you.

Facebook Integration – Now you can integrate your Facebook account with your Evony Age 2 account. You can swap allies, do gifts and go to the Empire of Facebook Ally.

Holiday Mode-for a price, this will freeze your status. No attacking or being attacked in this mode.

Historic Cities-If you are up for a challenge, these cities spread across 4 different levels (18,16,14 and 12) are out there for the conquering. Why are they special? When you conquer one, you get alot of control of surrounding resources (like your opponents).

Gear

You get to make your own gear in this version and guess where at? That’s right, in the previously useless workshops. The gear you get to make is totally dependent on what level your workshop is at.

Colonization

This allows you to colonize a town that you conquer. In a nutshell, you wage war on an opponent, wait the allotted time for war and hit colonize. Once this process goes through, if you have won you gain limited control over the town. You can do things like collect royalties, impose taxes and food levys, etc.

Achievements

Achievement Quests are different from the Evony quests. Once you complete the quest, like destroying a troop or a certain person, you will get points. Previously, you received resources. Many of these Achievement Quests come with bonuses depending on the quest. Some of the different types are Territory Quests, Booty Quests, Civilization Quests, etc.

In addition, there are several other additions to the game. They include Commission Quests, Folk Heroes, Statagems, Star levels, Fugitive Camps and Medals.

Evony is a massively successful online game that is free to play and plays in a browser window. Originally known as Civony, it plays in a similar fashion to Sid Meiers Civilization and fans of that game will most likely like this one too. Evony is a persistent world real time strategy (RTS) game set in a fantasy medieval setting. The game is very easy to play and understand, but if you are completely new to the genre of online strategy games then a few pointers will help you out and that is the aim of this article.

The first thing to understand is that this is a battle game. While it is perfectly possible to form or join an alliance – and indeed I would recommend that you do – the main object is to engage in battle against other human players and overcome them. Players new to the game are sometimes heard chatting in the general chat of the game bemoaning the fact that someone has attacked them. This is the point of the game!

To stop more advanced players merely destroying those new to the game Evony has a mechanism called beginners protection. This means that a new player cannot be attacked for the first seven full days of play. This is real world time. Using this time wisely is a must. When beginner’s protection is removed automatically you want to be as strong as you can be. It is possible to remove it before seven days are up by attacking another player, or building a level five town hall, but I would not recommend doing that.

In your first week of play you need to build up both your army and your resource gathering capabilities along with high level walls and a reasonable level of overall development. Place your early emphasis on building resource gathering tiles. The four types of resources are gold (raised from taxing the population), wood (collected by building lumber mills), stone (gathered from quarries) and iron (smelted in iron mines). While gathering all four types of resources are important, wood is a strong limiting factor early in the game. I recommend building two sawmills for every five resource gathering tiles you make, at least during the early part of the game.

A huge help with understanding how the game works can be gleaned from playing through the routine Evony quests. Not only will they help you understand the game better, but completing them often grants you more of the resources you used to complete them than were required to do so – thus giving you free resources. If you are the kind of person that learns best by doing, then completing the routine quests is possibly the best Evony guide you can get.

Not like those free downloads that are actually just “teasers”. The catch is that Evony is addictive, but in a good way. Aside from being able to build cities (I now have two, and thriving very well thanks to a lot of help from my Alliance), command armies, and conquer valleys, the best part is that I get to make friends with some of the most fun people all over the world.

There are two ways to go about building your city: the first is to toughen up your defenses first (build walls and fortifications), or go on the offensive and build up a kicking army. Most everyone in my Alliance think that warehouses are almost useless, and have up to 12 barracks in their cities. We’re also considered as one of the friendlier Alliances at that.

We also all agree in getting the level of Informatics high as soon as possible. This keeps other people from seeing what you’re up to. When some high prestige player (higher prestige = bigger army, my prestige level is scary enough to newbies, but not nearly high enough to be considered as one of the “Big Boys” in my server) is scouting you, this might put them off for a while until you can get help or teleport out of there.

There are nights that I stay up late to chat with people about “Screaming Ladies” (what one ally and I call our warriors), or just about anything at all. There are also times when you can feel a lot of tension when one of your friends is getting attacked, and people in my Alliance have become real pros in reinforcing. If you’re a beginner and you don’t know what the embassy is for, it’s for your allies’ troops when they come to visit. Some players like training troops in big batches, which takes longer but you get the whole batch in one big shebang. I like training them in smaller numbers at different barracks.

Another thing that I like about Evony is that you can actually get a lot of work done while you’re waiting for your troops to get trained, or the results of your attack on a Barbarian City or resource valley(or another player) or a structure to get built up. It puts some players off, but it gives me time to step back into the real world, otherwise I’d be sitting on my ass all day clicking at tabs and buttons.

I clean out all my resources on one big build before I sleep or go out, and come back with a nice leveled up building, or more defensive measures, or higher research afterward. It’s also a good way to keep yourself from getting plundered, if your Archer Towers are the same number as the resources in your city, chances are other people will leave you alone.

I’m glad that my first online gaming experience was with Evony, and that I get to learn something new everyday.

This game allows you to get into the nitty gritties of micromanaging tax rates, production focuses etc but so far my main focus has been on building a resource and research infrastructure as well as putting in place defenses.

By getting an early wriggle on with expanding my population, my town became more than self-sufficient economically. I am yet to struggle for gold whatsoever. This allowed me to build my resource structures fastly and efficiently without having to sacrifice workers from any industry.

Once my industries were built up, I was able to start selling off materials fairly comfortably, whilst still having more than enough to support my town’s growth.

So far I have resisted the urge to splash out on any RMT items or bonuses whatsoever, and while I enjoy the game casually, I dont think I could ever see myself wanting to spend money on them whatsoever.

Community wise, the game’s world population channel is enterprisingly crowded with typical 12 year-olds typically seen in the barrens chat. OMG Chuck Norris. This is particularly surprising because apart from the 6 free “speakers” you get when you sign up, every time you send a message in world chat costs you REAL MONEY.

Granted, you can win RMT items off a prize wheel once per day, but even so, to want to waste it on “LALALALA” “Chuck norris omg” “speak english” seems pretty weird.

The single thing that has improved this game massively for me since I started was turning off global chat.

This game is very slow-paced, with most of your actions taking place over a fixed amount of time – ie upgrading city walls might take you three hours, and you can only upgrade or construct one building at a time, so you set that, pick your research, set up your army training list and log off for the next six hours.

The graphics are very reminiscent of Civilization – probably a cross between 2 and 3.

Overall there is nothing overly innovative about this game, but what they’ve done, they’ve done well. Its a true shame about the community however.

Evony is a free online city building game that lets you command your own empire. One of the largest goals in the game is to keep up your prestige, which is what some people would call game points. You begin with a Town Hall at level 1 in the middle of your soon to be city. Most people begin by building a cottage, which expands space for people to move into your city. As you continue on, you will see buildings like the Barracks, the Academy, the Rally Point, and so on. These will all help you in your quest for a great empire. You also have the choice of joining an alliance and taking part in great battles.

Although you would love to jump right in, you want to begin with getting a good income of resources. The 4 resources are food, lumber, stone, and iron. All of which you will need as your game progresses. Also, upgrading your Town Hall is vital if you want your city to become more advanced. Once you have a good flow of resources and gold, you can continue to your army. Now this part requires patience. First you will need at least a barracks, an academy, and a rally point. With this, you should research Military Science and Military Tradition.

Once these are high enough, you can begin researching other things like Archery and Horseback riding. Now you should build your force. A mix of pikemen and archers is very good in the beginning. You should also have scouts so you can scout out the enemy before attack. Along with all of this, you can make yourself rich with trading. Build a market and upgrade it to increase the amount of offers you can have at once. When buying, if your request goes through, it will take 30 minutes for it to arrive without any special help.

Once your beginners protection wears off, you will go in depth with fighting and defending. By this time you should have upgraded walls, defenses, and an army. To continue the growth and income of your empire, you can conquer other areas of land and build new cities. Some empty areas of land have forests, swamps, or mountains or anything else that can help with your production of resources. Conquering these lands could help immensely. Or you can attack and take over other cities, which will advance your prestige and help with resources. You will also have a new city to begin building, which in provide more game play.

Although I have given you the basics, you should join an Alliance or ask a friend for help. All I can say is that this game is very fun, and it WILL provide you with months of gaming and fun. You can even do other things while the game runs! Well I hope you come and play this game, because it is truly a great city building experience.

For the past few days I have been testing a game called Evony, which is based on the creation of cities, development of such cities, and war upon fellow players in the game. My alias is Lord Extravagus, a fairly new player of this interesting and slowly developing game, played in current state of two-dimensional graphics. Though not as developed as one of the colony-based games such as Conqueror, for an online-play, it offers a great deal of fun and excitement for all.

Interaction is found in the game with friendly speech and help for new players, offering a bit of assistance for the dreaded beginning moments of a game where you are figuring things out. Alliances are made and upon joining you are talked through a long basis of what to do and how to do it. Most alliances, which are basically defined as large populations of players who decide to join forces, will assist you in structure and format of your city as well as improving production and building armies. Help is found in every bit of this game from the very start.

The items produced in this game are helpful in many ways, ranging from talking to the world to developing your city, to saving your city. One significant item, though not really an item, is the seven-day safety all new players receive, allowing them protection without harm for that allotted week. This is the time given to become familiar with the game and build a secure and structured city fit in your eyes and solely for your benefit (unless of course you wish to help out players in your alliance).

Starting out you receive amulets, which you receive daily, that permits you to use a wheel of fortune that gives you a great deal of chances to win something great. You also start out with an abundance of items that help with development of your city and speeds up the time in which things can be finished. Though these items are limited, they still remain to help with the furthering of your city. Games made nowadays leave you solely with intuition and the skills to find what you need, which is usually a complete turn off for any gamer looking for fun.

The offers made in this game are steep but usually helpful. One offer in particular is a five-dollar deal that gives you a twenty-dollar package plus fifty extra cents(the money in the game), which is an obvious bargain to those who wish to take it. Others are thirty-dollar deals, which provide a great deal of items but also can be less attractive at times. In honesty, I would not take those deals because game play is free anyway and that is just too steep for me; sorry.

This is a fun game for all, having censors for the younger crowd, and full of fun for the whole family. If you like strategy and have time in your day to try a new game, I recommend this one. Not because it’s the best development ever made, but because it actually provides an addictive satisfaction that many games seem to lack these days. I play on server 90, and if you want, I’m on most of the day developing. Come have a chat, I’d be glad to show you around and walk you through things.
